Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Smriti Irani has been discredited by a young MBA graduate in Sri Nagar. Sources add in that a student Sameer Gojwari refused to assume his Master of Business Administration degree being awarded to him from Union HRD minister Smriti Irani at the convocation of Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) in Kashmir. Giving the details over his boycott, Sameer Gojwari claimed his protest is was against drop-off freedom in the nation.

Briefing about the incident and his protest, the MBA graduate Sameer Gojwari texted down on Facebook social networking site as “Though, for a student, receiving a master’s degree is no less than any prestigious award. But on October 19, (the Convocation Day) I, Sameer Gojwari won’t accept it.”

He further added that “When India’s writers are returning literary awards to protest diminishing freedoms and 41 writers across the country have given back most prestigious awards; unofficial reports say that Islamic University of Science & Technology on its 1st Convocation has chaired a minister from Central Ministry #BJP, most likely Mrs Smriti Irani.”

However, no official source of Islamic University of Science & Technology has claimed responsibility for the Facebook status updates of Sameer Gojwari and has failed to ascertain any update or fresh development in this regard. It hasn’t been yet made official by the Islamic University of Science & Technology about the addressing of Smriti Irani on the convocation day.

Ironically protests and opposition to Smriti Irani’s address are at their pace prior to the confirmation or commencement of her address at Islamic University of Science & Technology convocation day.
