IPL Fixing: BCCI Suspends Mumbai Ranji Player Hiken Shah for Fixing Charges

Mumbai Ranji Player Hiken Shah has been suspended with immediate effect by BCCI. He is guilty of breaching BCCI’s Anti Corruption Code. BCCI is serious about such incidents. BCCI is all set to take action against players who created a flutter before the IPL championship began this year with a Rajasthan Royals player accusing a Mumbai Ranji player of approaching him to fix games.

He was found guilty in IPL spot-fixing case, BCCI all set to suspend the Mumbai cricketer. BCCI President, Mr. Jagmohan Dalmiya said, “BCCI has zero tolerance for corruption in the game of cricket. We have and we will take swift action against such incidents to set a precedent and control the menace of corruption in the game. While placing the player under suspension, I have referred the matter to the disciplinary committee of the BCCI to take further action against the player involved.”

Hiken Shah approached Rajasthan Royals player praveen tambe to spot fix the match. Praveen Tambe intimated the same to disciplinary committee. BCCI Suspended Hiken Shah for IPL Fixing charges.
