The most awaited movie of Mega Powerstar Ram Charan – Dhruva released worldwide today. Dhruva is an official remake of the Tamil hit – Thani Oruvan. Dhruva movie is directed by Surender Reddy and bankrolled by Allu Aravind under his own banner Geetha Arts.

Dhruva Movie Story:

Dhruva is an action thriller movie and it is an official remake of hit Tamil film Thani Oruvan, which deals with the story of a police officer, who is hell-bent on arresting a wealthy and sly criminal. Surender Reddy has made some changes in his adaptation to suit the taste of local audience. Sidharth Abhimanyu is a very affable businessman. He is friendly with outside world. He is a colossal underworld criminal and runs many illegal businesses.

Dhruva, the protagonist, is a police officer who enters the scene just to expose the negative side of the seemingly good-natured businessman. Sidharth Abhimanyu tracks each and every move of Dhruva through an electronic bug which is implanted on Dhruva’s chest during an operation. The entire film revolves around what Dhruva does to expose Sidharth and his nefarious activities. Dhruva identifies the bug and destroys it. The film moves at a different angle after this. How the criminal learns of Dhruva and how he counter his moves. Dhruva efforts to see his downfall forms the crux of the story.

Dhruva Movie Review:

The movie starts on a slow note, but the narration turns intense and racy towards the interval. The second half of the film has a fast-paced narration and it its high on action quotient. The climax is good. The technically very strong movie as cinematography, background score, and slick visuals throughout are magnificent. The biggest strength is racy screenplay except for a lag of 30 minutes post interval.

Ram Charan has delivered good performance, and he impresses the viewers with his macho looks and dare-devil stunts. His six pack body gain some more points to the film regarding looks and style. Arvind Swamy performance is one of the highlights of the movie. Rakul Preet Singh has done an excellent job, and her glamor and chemistry with Cherry are highlights.

Hiphop Tamizha’s songs and background score, PS Vinod’s picturization, brilliant action scenes, Naveen Nooli’s editing and amazing dance choreography are the attractions on the technical front, say the audience.
