Delhi University Professor’s Shameful Statement On Goddess Durga As “Sexy Prostitute” Sparks Outrage!

Starting with the foreign companies marketing their products using the names of Hindu Gods,  a lot has been happening since a couple of years. Earlier, E-Commerce company Amazon is seen selling doormats that has Lord Ganesha’s picture, later, Australian food company is seen marketing their products by depicting Ganesha feasting the meat. For all the unfortunate things, another saddening incident took place, sadly, this happened in India.

An Assistant Professor of Dayal Singh College in Delhi University has passed some disgusting statements which brutally offended the senses of Hindu community. He shared his views on Facebook and that garnered huge backlash which ultimately ended up landing him in jail.

This professor, Kedar Kumar Mandal on September 22 wrote on his Facebook, “Durga is the very much sexy prostitute in the Indian mythology.”

Various Hindu organizations and student wings like Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) have demanded the dismissal of the professor from DU administration. The news reached police authorities as a FIR was filed against the professor.

According to a tweet by a netizen, a police complaint has also been lodged against the Delhi University professor for calling goddess Durga a ‘prostitute’.

Social media is still on rage. Netizens have been bashing the professor blue and black. The post is taken down by the Facebook authorities. Meanwhile, it is seen that the professor is physically handicapped.
