The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) was established in the year 1969. It is the authority which conducts the public examinations at middle, matric (secondary or high school) and senior secondary school (academic and vocational) levels, twice a year, in the state of Haryana through its affiliated schools. The board has conducted the senior secondary exam (class 12) exam this year from 8th March to 29th March 2016 at 1,482 centers across the state. This year, around 2.5 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 Board examinations. HBSE Haryana 12th Class Toppers List & Pass % Of 2016:

In 2016, Around 2.5 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 Board examinations. The total pass percentage of regular students is 62.40 per cent while private students have registered 54.22 per cent.

The girls have outshined boys by scoring a total of 70.77 per cent while boys are at 55.79 per cent in the Haryana Board (HBSE) Class 12 results 2016.

In 2015, Haryana Board 12th class pass percentage is 53.9. In the senior secondary examination, the girls have managed a pass percentage of 44.6 percent and the boys have a pass percentage of 38.4 percent.

The rural students have performed better than the urban by scoring 64.67 per cent while urban students are at 58.79 per cent.
