Day After Pakistan Mutilates Soldier, India Army Hits Back At Pakistan With Massive Firing Along LoC

A day after three soldiers were killed and body of one of them was mutilated, Indian Army launched massive counter assault on Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC).

Indian Army has launched heavy firing on Pakistan along the LoC in Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, Pakistan has violated ceasefire again in Bhimber Gali, Krishna Ghati and Nowshera sectors of Jammu and Kashmir.

Three soldiers were killed and one of them was beheaded, in an action that Indian Army said bore the “signature” of the Pakistan Army’s Border Action Team. However Pakistan denied the charges.

India lodged a strong protest with Pakistan against the killing and mutilation when the foreign office in Islamabad summoned deputy high commissioner JP Singh to condemn “unprovoked ceasefire violations”. This was the second such incident in two months of an Indian soldier’s body being mutilated.
