India successfully makes its third attempt to qualify for the elite 16-nation World Group. Tennis champions Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna kept their differences aside and both together guided India to the World Group play-offs.

The wait for the World Group matches to know the rival in the playoffs has over which is held in September. Hence, the Indian Tennis Team had celebrated the win over South Korea in an epic manner.

After winning over South Korea, Indian team earned a spot in the World Group Play-offs. Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna along with Anand Amritraj and other players made everyone cheerful in a unique way at the Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association complex.

The whole team danced to the tunes of the song ‘Afghan Jalebi’ from the movie ‘Phantom’.  Leander Paes also shared a video of India players celebrating on his micro-blogging site. Despite losing the Davis Cup, Korean team has given a tough competition for Indians.

They were playing on an alien surface but fought their hearts out in the tie. Indian Players did a decent job as the fans present cheered for them. Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan won their respective singles on the first day. Then Paes and Bopanna sealed the tie by winning the doubles. On the last day, Bopanna won the reverse singles while Ramanathan lost his tie.
