We have been known, the rage of the three Khans in Bollywood, i.e Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir. From romancing heroines to doing action roles to breaking records with the 200 crore club, they have done it all!However, the entrant in the Khan club has left the audience flabbergasted! Irrfan Khan, who is known for his successful international projects, scores again! The national award winning actor’s recent Hollywood film ‘Jurassic World’ saw the biggest global box office weekend till date. With a staggering collection of $ 524.1 million in its first weekend, the film is all set to create new records.

He plays the role of Simon Masrani, the owner of the dinosaur park in Jurassic World. Irrfan is believed to have maximum screen time a Bollywood actor has every had in a Hollywood film. Speaking about his role Irrfan said,”Simon is an entrepreneur and has a unique sense of morality. He nurtured John Hammond’s dream and truly wants to educate the common man through entertainment.”

Irrfan Khan’s portrayal of a man with a deep insight in the movie has struck a chord with a global audience.
‘Jurassic World’, which released on June 12, 2015 has left behind Avengers’ (2012) $207.4 million opening in America, and the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011) $314 million mark, internationally.
The movie has earned over Rs 3,200 crore at the global box office within the opening weekend itself, as opposed to the average Rs 100-200 crores of business that the super hit Khan movies do in their entire lifetime. No wonder the feat has also earned Irrfan the tag of ‘3000 crore Khan’ on Twitter, amid the huge frenzy on social media.
And the trend looks set to continue. While Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, SRK’s Dilwale and Aamir Khan’s Dangal are all in the pipeline.
