SJ Surya has made his acting debut and proved himself as an actor and music director with Isai movie. This film has been receiving superb openings all over. SJ Surya, Savitri played the lead roles. Isai is based on the music , Veteran actor Sathyaraj and SJ Surya were seen as musicians in the film.

First talking about its First Day Box Office Report, the film started with an occupancy of 30-40 percent on the morning shows which later increased with positive word of mouth and at the end of the day the film registered an overall occupancy of around 55-60 perecent. Looking at the overall occupancy, it can be expected that “Isai” could collect about Rs.1.5 crore on its opening day.
