ISS Astronaut Scott Kelly Tweets Stunning Images of South India From Space

South India looks spectacular from Space as proved by these tweets from the ISS. American Astronaut Scott Kelly, who is currently on the International Space Station (ISS), recently tweeted some stunning pictures of southern India as seen from outer space.

US astronaut Scott Kelly, the longest-living US astronaut on the International Space Station is surely witnessing some wonderful sights from up there!  And luckily for us, he keeps posting these amazing pictures from space on his Twitter account. Early this morning, as the ISS was passing the Indian coast, he posted some mind-bending beautiful photos of South India.

Selected for a year-long mission, Astronaut Scott Kelly has been on the International Space Station (ISS) since March 2015. Since then, he had posted a series of pictures including images of Indian cities, the Ganges and stunning night time picture of India-Pakistan border, etc.

Floating hundreds of miles above the Himalayas. 500 + days in space is what International Space Station Commander Scott Kelly is aiming for; in an experiment planning to study the long-term effects of outer space. “Every additional day spent in space helps us better understand how long-duration spaceflight affects bodies and minds, which is critical to advancing NASA’s journey to Mars,” NASA said.
