JEE Advanced 2015 Cut Off Marks : General: 105, OBC: 70, SC:50, ST:44

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main on 4th,10th,11th April 2015. While On 4th April it was Offline Exam and on 10th,11th April it is Online exam. Candidates appeared for the Online felt the exam a bit difficult compared with Offline Exam.

All the candidates appeared for JEE Main exam want to know the cutoff marks, if it is online or offline the cut marks will be same. The Cut off marks differ for different category students. Considering all aspects and the based on the papers of online or offline the cut off may be same as last years. Expects however suggest a little higher cutoff this year due to the  easier question paper this year as compared to the last year.

Expected Cutoff for JEE Main 2015 released by different coaching institutes. All the aspirants want to know the cut off can check below. But the official cut off marks are not yet released. Candidates are every much interested to know the cut off marks, which decides Cut Off marks he eligibility to appear in the second stage of entrance exam JEE Advanced for admissions to different Indian Institutes of Technology across the country.

Expected :

  • Common Merit List (General) (CML) : 120-125 Marks
  • Other Backward Class (OBC) : 80-85 Marks
  • SC/ST : 50-55 Marks

More than 13 lakh students appeared for the entrance exam for the admissions to various B.E and B.Tech courses. The Question paper is for 360 marks, there will be three sections each of 30 questions. Four marks will be awarded for every right answer, whereas for a wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.

“Out of the three subjects, Chemistry was relatively easy. Whereas, Physics and Maths were of medium difficulty level. There was no ambiguity found in any of the questions”, says Mr. Aakash Chaudhry, Director, AESPL

Students those appeared for the exam said, usually physics paper will be tough or tricky. This time 10 questions were very difficult and the rest while others were equally easy. But the placement of the questions strategical. Those who solved the questions from last may find paper easy and score well.
