The benchmarks that Reliance JIO has so far broken is just countless. Within no time, this mobile network has become the people’s most loved one throughout the massive country.
But recently, Reliance Jio received a strong backlash when TRAI asked the telecom company to withdraw its Summer Surprise offer way before the set date of expiry.
Yes, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has advised the operator to withdraw its new offer in which the company is offering free services for three months as ‘complimentary’ at Rs. 303.
However, after providing a small window to get the Summer Surprise Offer, the company has finally taken it off from its official website.
But Here Is A Good News For Jio Users! Jio To Introduce New Offers Soon!
Yes, the Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio Infocomm will soon launch ‘more’ exciting offers including ultra-affordable data tariff to woo new subscribers as well as retain existing Jio Prime members.
“We are updating our tariff packs and will be soon introducing more exiting offers,” the Mumbai-based company’s official Website said.
These offers are expected to come after April 15, when the deadline to subscribe to Jio Prime gets over and the free Jio 4G services end.
The company has also issued a press statement in which it says that
“Jio accepts this decision. Jio is in the process of fully complying with the regulator’s advice, and will be withdrawing the three months complimentary benefits of Jio Summer Surprise as soon as operationally feasible, over the next few days“
Though Jio did not specify any date for when the Summer Surprise offer would stop but it sure created a commotion within users. It also increased the number of pre-calls announcements and flash messages to Jio users, hinting that the Summer Suprise offer was coming to an end and that they would subscribe to it quickly.
The company also said that all customers who have subscribed to JIO SUMMER SURPRISE offer prior to its discontinuation would get the complimentary offer for next three months while others may have to face SIM deactivation after a while.
Meanwhile, the company has managed garner over 72 million Jio customers who have signed up for Jio Prime membership as on March 31 (the earlier deadline for Prime membership).
