KCSE Results 2014 Online Check @ www.kcse.ac.ke: More than 450,000 candidates who sat last year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education ( KCSE) examinations will receive their results Tuesday. And for the first time, the Kenya National Examination Council (Knec) will also release results for other groups that sat exams administered by the council. These include 46,412 students wrote Early Childhood Development Examinations across the country. All the candidates who have appeared in this exam can check their results on 3rd March from the official website.

CEO Joseph Kivilu said that the Education Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi will release the results at Mitihani House in Nairobi starting at 9.00 AM. To access the results, parents and guardians are advised to send the candidate’s index number through a short message service to 22252 immediately after the release.

KCSE results to be released on 3rd March:

KCSE results will be released without the glamour of ranking students and schools after the government abolished the long standing tradition of naming the best schools and candidates.

“Upon receipt, they should scrutinize the results and communicate any discrepancy or appeals for remarking to KNEC within one month (30 working days) from date of release,” Kivilu said in a statement.

The Knec boss said candidates with pending results will receive a letter through their respective head teachers explaining why their examination results have been withheld. Complaints and request for appeals for remarking will be raised within 30 working days.
