Caught On Camera: Leopard Enters A House In Pinjore, Nabbed

In a shocking incident, a leopard entered a house in Amravati Enclave, Pinjore, at around 9 am on Saturday. The leopard was later caught by forest officials using tranquilizers.

The leopard had lost his way and mistakenly entered in to the house of a retired Army officer in Amravati Enclave in Pinjore. The residents were very frightened and ran out of the house at the sight of the big cat. It also left the entire neighborhood panic-stricken until it was captured late in the afternoon on Saturday. It took almost six hours for the wildlife department to finally relieve people of panic.

The whole incident was caught on camera. The Army officer, Lt General (retd) B S Jaswal, was, however, as cool as the cat. The wildlife officials said it took around an hour for the tranquiliser to take effect. After the leopard fell unconscious, it was caught using a net and taken away around 2.45 pm.
