In this present modern world, it is difficult to find a number of good and nice people. But there are few moments in everyone’s life that tell us ‘Humanity has not fully ended and there are still few people who believe in doing good for others.‘ These busy life’s are all used to the state of hurry and we rarely stop for a moment and realize all that we are missing and feel human. There are moments that make us realize that life is not as much about achieving and collecting as it is about giving.

Here is a story of a tourist who will prove The joy of giving and generating a smile on another’s face is so powerful that it can light up even the darkest corners of our souls and make us open our eyes.

An anonymous person Mr. A who visited Perinthalmanna town in Kerala. He spent the whole day full of a hectic schedule in meeting and chatting with his delegates. He was just tired and went to have dinner in a nearby restaurant.  He quickly placed an order. As soon as the order reached his table, his sight found two small eyes outside the restaurant window. The eyes are peeping through the glass onto the food and people eating.

Those eyes belong to a street urchin. He asked him to come in and the little boy along with his sister entered. Their eyes weren’t out of food. Mr. A asked them what they want to eat and the kids didn’t need a menu, they gestured at his plate so he gave it to them. The little boy tried to dive right in but his sister stopped him and gestured to wash hands first prior to eating. They silently ate without speaking a word and when done, they left after washing hands.

Mr. A had not touched his food till then. He found that his hunger was sated, he felt a rare feeling of fulfillment. He then finished his meal and asked for the bill. He rose to wash hands and returned to his table. He was surprised after seeing the bill, There was no amount written on the bill. Instead, an awesome message was written on the bill which read, “We don’t have a machine that can bill humanity. May good happen to you.”
