Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella Says His ‘Successes to Learning from Failures’

The software giant, Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella visited the T-Hub Tech incubator at Hyderabad on Monday. During his visit, he also met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and they discussed for about one hour regarding IT Development in Andhra Pradesh. During the visit to his hometown, Hyderabad, Satya Nadella interacted with young budding entrepreneurs who are building out startups in India and presented some of the wisdom that’s equipped him to drive such an immense organization under some very distinctive channels.

Microsoft is enthusiastic in working with the most aspiring entrepreneurs on developing last mile technological connectivity with India’s rural areas, CEO Satya Nadella said on Monday. He also said that the company is very much keenly interested in working with Telangana Government through Microsoft Ventures Accelerators to give a firm push up for Eco System.

Addressing a gathering at T-Hub, a technological incubator promoted by the Telangana government, Nadella advised the start-up community to learn from the failures.“Whatever technology you use, like white space technology, it is important to get the last mile connectivity to rural areas. We are interested in working with entrepreneurs in that space. The idea should have marketability,” he said.

Telangana IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao, Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Nasscom Chairman B.V.R. Mohan Reddy were among people who warm- welcomed the Microsoft CEO Nadella. Once after arriving on the T-Hub incubator in IIIT Hyderabad, Mr.Satya Nadella discussed regarding the T-Hub facilities with the Telangana IT Minister. The IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan also explained in detail around the T-Hub centers and the aid given to start-ups. There was a double bonanza for the tech incubator at T-Hub as Infosys Chief executive Officer Vishal Sikka also dropped in to pay attention to the Microsoft CEO.

Interacting with the people on the T-Hub, Mr.Nadella said that synthetic Intelligence will be the future of the IT industry. “importance of failure lies in what u learn from it; failure by itself cannot be celebrated,” opined Mr. Satya Nadella.

“It’s not about the failure; it’s about learning from the failures. Failure itself cannot be celebrated. When I think about my career, my successes are built on learning from failures,” he said when a youngster asked him about how one should deal with failure.

He went on to highlight some special points to help render some additional direction. He advised startups to keep three fundamental points in mind.

  • To not lose out on the concept that drives them.
  • The capability that you need to build to chase after that concept.
  • Have that persistence and to curate the culture they drive in their organisation on a constant basis.

The India-born CEO also added that culture can never be falsified, especially in a small organisation like startups. “The more you live it, the more sustainable your business approach becomes,” he said.

The Microsoft CEO, who went around the facility, was aroused and expressed admiration for space for the budding entrepreneurs in his own hometown. The most aspiring entrepreneurs were delighted to see and hear the world’s most prominent person in the IT industry.

On the T-Hub strengthening the ones aiming to become massive players from the start-up degree, Nadella said that he had built his career in a successful manner by learning from failures and aspired young entrepreneurs on the T-Hub in Hyderabad to pursue the method for attaining growth both in career and life.
