Sushant Singh Rajput, who is now playing the role of India’s World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a biopic named ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story‘. Neeraj Pandey is directing the film which started shooting long back. Finally, Sushant took to Twitter to announce the release date of his upcoming film and it is on September 2, 2016.

Sushant underwent rigorous training as well as a makeover to essay Dhoni. As MS Dhoni has a huge fan following in India and all over the world, the film also has high expectations to know the real life of their favorite player. No doubt that the film after release turns out as a big crowd puller.

This film is the first biopic made on a high-profile Indian cricketer. The film is produced by Fox Star Studios and Inspired Entertainment (Rhiti Group). The film shows the inspirational rise from humble beginnings in Ranchi to an icon. The film features veteran actor Anupam Kher, who will be seen playing Dhoni’s father Pan Singh. Kiara Advani will be portraying as Dhoni’s wife Sakshi.
