OnePlus Mini Availability, Pricing, and Specifications Tipped

OnePlus Mini has been ‘seemingly’ confirmed to launch before end of this year and is likely to be out in-time for the Christmas holidays, according to OnePlus Co-founder Carl Pei. Now, new leaked details about the OnePlus Mini have emerged claiming purported availability, pricing, and specifications of the handset. According to the latest details, the OnePlus Mini may be priced at $250 (approximately Rs. 16,500) and will be launched in November or December.

According to leaked details, The handset is said to feature a 5-inch IPS display with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) screen resolution. It is likely to sport Corning Gorilla Glass 3 or 4 cover alongside an oleophobic and hydrophobic coating on top.

OnePlus Mini is also expected to feature 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage and a fingerprint sensor.It is said to feature a 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, and dual-tone LED flash. The smartphone is said to feature a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The handset is expected to pack a 3000-3100mAh non-removable battery alongside the USB Type-C port. Other rumoured connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and Wi-Fi.

The publication also claims that the OnePlus Mini could be launched as early as this month. Agrawal hinted as much saying, “We’re introducing a new device by the end of this year. Diwali would be the ideal time, but next quarter for sure. It would be a global launch, but India will be the biggest focus.” It is expected to be aggressively priced around $249 or Rs 16,320 approximately.

The 64 GB version of OnePlus 2, with 4GB RAM, is priced at Rs 24,999 and currently available on Amazon India. Users need an invite to get the new smartphone. It remains to be seen if OnePlus X too will use a similar system for selling its phones.
