Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on United Kingdom’s tour has been esteemed with standing ovation by the British Parliament. The British Parliament stood up after the completion of Narendra Modi as a mark of respect and bestowed him with standing ovation by the honorable members of the august house.

British Parliament Gives Narendra Modi Standing Ovation

Narendra Modi, Indian Prime Minister addressed the members of the  British Parliament on Thursday during a two-day state visit. During his speech at UK parliament on Thursday, PM Modi necessitated India and the United Kingdom to place high pitched ambitions and work together. Both the Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom and India visited the statue of Mahatma Ghandi in Parliament Square as hundreds of people protested his visit nearby.

PM Modi creates a record by delivering his speech in the royal gallery. In the presence of the Britain’s Speaker of the House of commons John Bercow and Speaker of the House of Lords Baroness D’souza listen, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the members of parliament and invited guests in the Royal Gallery at the Houses of Parliament in central London on November 12, 2015.

Both the representatives of the two nations welcomed billions of pounds worth of trade deals while there have been protests carried out by the people and activists who are against his visit.
