Rangam 2 Movie Story:

Rangam 2 movie is a romantic- thriller with complete power pack action scenes. Chandu (Jiiva), he is an MBA graduate and lives careless life with his friends. Srila (Thulasi) is a driving instructor and living with her father in Mumbai.

Chandru saves her from terrorist attack and falls in love with her. But Srila’s father rejects their love because Chandu doesn’t have any job. Chandu tries hard and gets a job in a Middle East nation where he is caught in a conspiracy and his struggle to wriggle out of it forms the rest of the movie.

Rangam 2 Movie Review:

The story is pretty simple and may not attract an audience if they watch a movie with Rangam movie expectations. This film reveals all the student’s politics, and how politics behave with media, news channels. The film begins with a shootout where a most-wanted terrorist is shot dead. The entire first half has nothing but repetitive scenes of Chandru wooing Sreela, that are neither funny nor romantic.

Unfortunately for us, the second only makes the first seem better despite the actual plot kicking in only here. Manush Nanthan has done the excellent DOP for this film. And also A Srikar Prasad’s editing is one more highlight of the film. The lead pair chemistry neither satisfies nor impress.

Positive Points:

  • First Half
  • Fight sequences
  • Climax
  • Cinematography

Negative Points:

  • Second Half
  • Predictable Story

All India Roundup Rating: 2/5

Final verdict:

Overall, if you do not expect too many fights or too much mushy love in it, you can barely watch this movie for one time. Interesting narration blend with the predictable story may make the movie average flick.
