While the opposition party members try to question Modi for demonetization move here is a recent incident where Ravinder Gupta NDMC mayor brought fresh embarrassment for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) when he was seen singing the wrong words of the National Anthem.

The Supreme Court might’ve made the playing of the national anthem before every movie mandatory, but there are some out there who might not like this decision owing to personal reasons. A video surfaced on Twitter yesterday where the mayor, along with some eight people, is singing the National Anthem.

In a video that has surfaced on Twitter, the mayor can be seen stammering, getting a few words wrong and also laughing while singing the National Anthem.

In the video, he confuses ‘Bharat’ for ‘Jarat’ and makes a few more blunders. A close to 20 people were arrested last week for not standing to the National Anthem, after the latest Supreme Court shenanigan to play National Anthem in the theaters before the screening of a film.
