Did you have a bank account with SBI..?? If no after knowing this you wish to have one. A woman from Kanpur opened a savings account in SBI by depositing Rs 2,000. Upon checking her balance she was shocked to see that the balance in her account was Rs 95,71,16,98,647. Suddenly she was one of the richest women but it lasted only for a day.

According to reports, Urmila Yadav had deposited Rs 2,000 in her SBI account as a part of the government’s Jan Dhan Yojana scheme.

After that she received two text messages from the SBI bank. The first SMS said that her account has been credited with Rs 9,99,999. The second SMS showed that Rs 9.97 lakh had been deducted with Rs. 9,99,999 by leaving a balance of Rs 2,000.

As she was confused, Urmila went to the bank to check her balance upon which she found out that her balance was Rs 95,71,16,98,647.14. which is really very much shocking to her.

Later it turned out by saying that the mistake was on bank’s side. In a process undertaken by bank to freeze her dormant account, as she had not maintained the adequate balance required to keep it going, the bank credited a made up figure and then deducted it. It was, according to the bank employees, a way to communicate to the account holder that he or she could no longer use the account, reports said.

Strange explanation indeed! How ever the women had become a Billionaire for a day.
