After Indian team got off the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 losing semifinals with Aussies, Pakistani and Bangladeshi cricket ardent fans kept calling the BCCI headquarters on the number listed in their website and hung up after singing ‘Mauka Mauka’ when India lost their semi-final against Australia. This was a retaliating action from them as most of them were peeved and miffed with India’ success and famous marketing campaign ‘Mauka Mauka’ that was aired during the World Cup every time India won a match against  Bangladesh and Pakistani. Although Mauka Mauka was a commercial ad of Star Sports which has nothing to do with the BCCI while it has steamed their cricket blood.

Defending Champion of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 lost only single match and it was semifinal match in the tournament. Following the cricket fans of his nation Shahid Afridi went on to retaliate and to the neighbor’s after their ouster from the mega event while giving an interview to a television channel. Despite being though a poor tournament dared enough to sing ‘Mauka Mauka’ for India.  On a Pakistani chat show when asked about how he feels for India losing the semifinals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 he sang ‘Mauka Mauka’ song. He said “I got a clip from Saudi that showed the ‘Mauka’ ad after India lost.”

The most indigestible news for the neighboring nations of India is that India made its way in to the semi-finals of the World Cup while both Pakistan and Bangladesh were knocked out from the tournament in the quarter-finals.
