After All The Drama, This How Sunny Leone Reacted To RGV’S Controversial Comments About Her On Women’s Day

A couple of days ago, the controversial film-maker Ram Gopal Varma took to Twitter and made some disgraceful tweets about women on the International Women’s Day.

He wished all the women in a very nasty and cheesy way by tweeting, “I wish all the women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives”

And though Sunny replied to it with a smiley, Twitterati took RGV head on, hurling some not-so-charitable comments at him for his sexist comment.

Undoubtedly, his tweet attracted wide criticism on social media and prompted a women’s organization to file a complaint against him on the same.

However, RGV made an apology to “those who genuinely got offended”.

Here’s what he wrote on Thursday, Was just expressing my feelings but I apologize to all who were offended due to my unintended insensitive tweets in context of women’s day

But now, it looks like Sunny Leone isn’t happy with Ram Gopal Varma’s apology for his controversial tweet on her on March 9.

The Bollywood actor tweeted a video on her timeline on Thursday asking Indians to change their “mindset”. Though she didn’t take RGV’s name directly, it was evident who the subject of her video was.

In the video, Sunny says: “Change only happens when we have one voice, so let’s choose your words wisely! Peace and love!!”

In another development, Vishakha Mhambare of Ranragini, an outfit affiliated to Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, filed a complaint with Mapusa police in Goa, demanding that Varma be booked under cyber laws and section 292 of IPC.

Congress too demanded that the Maharashtra government and State Women’s Commission file a FIR against the filmmaker for his ‘sexist’ remarks.
