Her mother-in-law had reached out to the Delhi Commission for Women on 18th December 2016. That’s when the video footage was handed over to the DCW and a case was registered.

DCW Chief, Swati Maliwal told NewsX, “We’ve given a strong recommendation to register an FIR against the mother and we have also requested them to ensure protection for these three children. The fact is that there are two other children in the home and this seems to be a regular occurrence.”

The Delhi Police have filed a complaint against the woman. Meanwhile, the custody of the children has been taken from her and counselors of the Delhi Commission of Women are looking after them.

No reason has been revealed behind the inhumane behavior of this mother. The DCW is making sure that the police take strict action against the woman and also see if she is suffering from any mental health issues.
