In the second Innings on yesterday’s Pepsi IPL 8 Third Match between Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals. Kings XI Punjab was batting in the second innings George Bailey (c) hits out at the deep mid-wicket boundary. That ball was plucked by an airborne Southee. He feared crossing the boundary ropes with ball in his hand, he threw it back and Karun Nair showed immense presence of mind to catch it. Finally Kings XI Punjab George Bailey captain gave a catch for Karun Nair. George Bailey scores 24 runs in 18 balls after his contribution Kings XI Punjab score is 131/8. Punjab finish with 136/8 and Rajasthan have won by 26 runs.
This catch by Tim Southee and Karun Nair was a spectacular one. In this Tim Southee tried to catch the ball before it cross the boundary. Tim Southee was feared he may score the boundary and threw the ball back, there is Karun Nair shown his presence of mind to catch it. Which made this catch special one.
In Pepsi IPL 2015 Match 3 KXIP vs RR, Punjab finish with 136/8 and Rajasthan have won by 26 runs.
James Faulkner was the Man of the Match in IPL 8 3rd Match with 46 Runs and 4 Wickets.

In Champions League T20 last year, Tim Southee had shown his brilliance in catching. This is not the first time for Tim Southee to show his brilliance in the ground.
