UK PM David Cameron says, “Namastey Wembley!” And Introduces PM Modi to Crowd of 60,000

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is in UK tour has addressed the euphoria of NRIs in London at Wesley stadium today. British Prime Minister David Cameron welcomed PM Narendra Modi at London’s Wembley Stadium, saying, ‘Namastey Wembley’ as he addressed a gathering of 60,000 Indians. “Namaste Wembley! With a gathering like this, I know one thing, we are all winners today.”

Introducing PM Modi to a massive crowd at London’s Wembley Stadium on Friday, Mr Cameron said, “This is the most spectacular celebration of British-Indian relations we have ever seen. PM Narendra Modi and I govern in challenging times, but we are united by the scale of our ambition.”

Cameron also said, “They said a chaiwallah will never govern the world’s largest democracy, but Modi proved them wrong. The Indian Prime Minister had promised, achchhe din ane wale hai. And today, I would like to go ahead and add that achchhe din zaroor aayega.”
