Warangal Lok Sabha By Elections Polling Results: Final Warangal Election Results 2015

Polling for the Warangal Lok Sabha by-election held on Saturday went off peacefully. The Warangal By elections is conducting due to resignation of Sri Kadiyam Srihari as he was appointed as Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana and for that reason only, elections were organized.

A total of about 65 per cent polling was registered — about 10 per cent less than that recorded in the last general elections. Counting has started today for TRS, Congress, BJP and YSRCP parties. Warangal By Election Results 2015:

The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Tuesday retained the Warangal Lok Sabha seat by a record margin of over 4.59 lakh votes, while Congress emerged winner in Ratlam and the BJP managed to retain the Dewas Assembly seat hours after counting of votes began.

Ruling TRS candidate Pasunoori Dayakar has taken a lead of more than 1.46 lakh votes over his Congress rival in the Warangal Lok Sabha by-poll counting of votes which is underway.

​TRS was leading by 2,76,497 votes at the end of the 11 rounds of counting of the Warangal by-poll. Dayakar secured 2,01,499 votes, as against Congress candidate Sarve Sathyanarayana, who polled 54,786, while BJP’s P Devaiah got 39,925 votes at the end of the sixth round of counting.
