106-year-old Virginia McLaurin was so excited when she met US president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle that she busted out some dance moves with the two during her visit to the White House on Sunday.

In 2014, at 104 years old, Virginia McLaurin was honored in her hometown of Washington, D.C. for volunteering 40 hours of week with students who have severe mental disabilities. During the ceremony when she received her plaque, McLaurin told reporter she only had one wish and that was to meet the President of The United States.

McLaurin’s wish came true last week, when she met and even danced with the president and Michelle Obama.

McLaurin was born in 1910 when William Howard Taft was president. She was married at 14 and then widowed at 17 and throughout her life worked as a housekeeper, a nanny, and a seamstress.

Mrs McLaurin said she was very happy to meet United States’ first black president and his “black” wife, all while holding Obama and Michelle’s hands.
