AAP MLA Demonstrates How EVMs Can Be Tampered Live In Delhi Assembly

We all know that BJP has emerged as a winner in the recently concluded state elections in which they have formed the government in 4 out of 5 states. However, their victory in Uttar Pradesh is historical and all the other opponent parties are in a rude shock as to how this has happened.

Following this, BSP Supremo Mayawati has alleged that the Electronic Voting Machines have tampered otherwise it is impossible for BJP to win so many seats. Since then, everyone from Congress leaders to AAP leaders was claiming that BJP won because of the EVMs.

Especially, Arvind Kejriwal and his party have been continuously blaming EVMs for their defeat in the elections of Punjab and Goa and then in MCD but the Election Commission was in no mood to agree with them.

Even then the Delhi CM went ahead and alleged that the EVMs have tampered in the elections and this was the reason as to why AAP lost otherwise the public wave was in the favor of AAP.

However today, the AAP took on the Election Commission (EC) in the Assembly, AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj, a techie-turned-politician, demonstrated how an EVM can be hacked in just 90 seconds.

Yes, Saurabh Bhardwaj who is a computer engineer and an MLA of Aam Aadmi Party has given the “demonstration” of tampering EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines) in Delhi Assembly’s special session. Just to inform, not the actual machine but dummy was used for the purpose of demonstration.

The AAP MLA used the dummy machine and reset it to show that the machine that cleared the mock test could also be tampered with at the time of polling.

Quite surprisingly, during the polling process, an individual who knows how to tamper with the machine can pose as a voter and bring into play secret codes for determining the victory of a particular party. In addition, it has got nothing to do with a candidate’s number position.

The MLA demonstrated how codes entered by the manipulator can utterly change the results and affect the vote share received by the candidates. For this, he recreated the polling scene and cast votes randomly to candidates.

If this is how it happens, it is a matter of concern and the Election Commission should look into it as soon as possible.

Bhardwaj’s party members and other AAP supporters praised the “hacking”:

However, Twitter Raised Doubts And Questions After AAP MLA Demonstrated How To Hack An EVM

Even Kapil Mishra, the sacked AAP minister, too, took a dig at Kejriwal over the EVM hacking demonstration.

In response, Kejriwal had this to say:

However, the truth should come out as soon as possible because if the incident is correct, it is a direct attack on the democracy of India.
