Maharashtra and Haryana Election Results Out And BJP Storms Up

October 19th 2014 was a crucial a day for the major national parties BJP and Congress as it was a result day of the elections recently held in both the states of Maharashtra and Haryana. And the political drama was carried out during the state election campaign and it was a litmus test for both the parties Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party and many other regional parties such as Shiva Sena, Maharashtra Nav Nirman Sangh many more to prove their power and command over the region.

Haryana voter’s appears to be fed up with the present corrupt state government and had voted their clear mandate for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to form the government. BJP has good number of mandates and candidates while fallen short of the majority in the 288-seat state Assembly. Although it is made clear that results were the total annihilation of the ruling Congress in both the states. The elections results states that BJP has emerged as single largest party winning 122 seats  and its previous ally Shiv Sena has won 63 seats. The ruling government Congress was able to get 42 seats, Sharad Pawar lead Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has managed to get won 41 seats11. 6 constituencies were declared as won by independent candidates. Peasants and Workers Party 3 and Bahujan Vikas Aghadi Party have won three each and All India Majlis E Ittihadul Musalmeen (AIMIM) 2 and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, Samajwadi Party, CPIM, RSP and has won one each seat.

Haryana State Election Results

Haryana State elections results have knocking out Congress from its bastions with a clear mandate to BJP to form the government. Bharatiya Janta Party emerged as single largest party in the state to get absolute majority of 47 seats out of 90 in Haryana to form the government. Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi and Congress current Chief Minister of State Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda said in an media report that we do accept and admit the peoples decision and we would strive more hard to support and work for the people ahead. While it is an collective failure of ours to unable to reach the people thus we would have an party and meeting the would discuss and come out with our best.
