Smriti Irani Trolls Rahul Gandhi In Just Three Tweets, Twitterati Burst In Laughter!

Rahul Baba seems to have the worst timing in the history of Indian politics till date. He has been in the public eye for a lot of reasons and here comes one more that might stay here for long.

We know wherever Rahul Gandhi goes, jokes follow. But, RaGa has always been trying to slam PM Modi since demonetisation move. Last time, he said that “earthquake will come” if he gets a chance to speak on demonetization in the Parliament.

On January 11, he spoke in a lengthy speech against Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticizing his demonetisation move. He also said that now ‘acche din’ will only come after Congress comes back in power in 2019.

However, parts of his speech have caught people’s attention on social media who can’t help themselves but mock him. For instance, he said, Bhartiya Janata Party did in two and a half years which Congress couldn’t do in 70 years. What he meant was that under BJP, institutions like the Reserve Bank of India and judiciary have weakened but he was massively trolled on social media for some of his comments.

He also said,

“Mere yoga guru ne kaha tha jo Yoga Karta hai woh padmasan kar sakta hai aur jo yoga nahi karta woh padmasan nahi kar sakta (My Yoga guru had told me that the one who can do Yoga, can also do padmasana and the one who doesn’t do yoga, cannot do padmasana).

After his speech, Gandhi has been trending on Twitter, all for the funny reasons because he is one of the most trolled politicians of the country.

In the list of people who trolled Gandhi was also Textile minister Smriti Irani who took to Twitter and quote tweeted the leader on three of his tweets.

Look at her Series of tweets:

In another tweet, Gandhi hit out at the PM saying that he the demonetization move is an incompetent one and never before any PM has taken such a step, to which, Irani said,

Gandhi’s most talked about statement during the speech, “Ácche Din will come only when Congress comes to power in 2019” was also picked up by the minister and she took a jibe at him by saying,
