CBSE 12th Class Compartment Results 2017:

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. CBSE conducts the final examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 every year in the month of March. It is located at New Delhi, India. CBSE was established on November 03, 1962 and Ministry of Human Resource Development is the Parent Organization of CBSE . It conducts the board exams of 10th and 12th and promotes the qualified students to next level. The results are announced by the end of May. The board earlier conducted the AIEEE Examination for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and architecture in colleges across India. However the AIEEE exam was merged with the IIT-Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) in 2013. The common examination is now called JEE(Main). There are many Zone and regions under CBSE board. Delhi Zone, Ajmer Zone, Chennai Zone, Allahabad Zone, Guwahati Zone, Panchkula, Bhubaneswar, West Bengal, Orissa, Chattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu.

Higher Secondary Examination is called by different names in different states of India. CBSE, CICSE, and state boards of education conduct 12th class examination on their level for class 12 students in their respective schools. The examination time frame may be the same or different for different boards. Each board issues its separate time table for higher secondary examinations. Higher Secondary Examination is also called Intermediate exam in some Indian states. The Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh , Telangana and some other states conduct 12th class exam as intermediate exam. Higher Secondary Examination is usually conducted from February to March and April months every year. The exam schedule is defined by the individual boards based on their suitability.
