Much anticipated results of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2015 would be released down tomorrow.  The results for the all-India entrance exam conducted for admissions to post-graduate and undergraduate law courses, namely CLAT, are to be declared tomorrow i.e. on May 20. CLAT is non-statutory body formed by the under Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) to conduct admissions for the law pursuing aspirants across the nation to the various Law Universities in the Country. Candidates performing well in these examinations are would be able selected on the basis of ‘merit-cum-preference’ to each University for admission to their UG/PG programs as per the qualifications, reservation and other conditions prescribed by the government. under the respective Statutes of the participating  National Law Universities.

India’s 16 National Law Universities (NLUs) conduct the all India entrance examination Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admissions to their under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B. & LL.M.). NLU’s conduct the CLAT entrance on the basis of rotation policy where every university fulfilling the required conditions would organize the examinations across the nation. This year Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, (Lucknow) is organizing the all India entrance CLAT 2015 examinations. CLAT 2015 exam was conducted online on May 10 between 3 pm and 5 pm. Under-graduate test paper consisted of 200 multiple choice questions which were supposed to be solved by the aspiring candidates seeking admissions within a time duration of two hours. CLAT 2015 undergraduate exam comprises questions based on English, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability), Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Post-graduate test paper carries 150 multiple choice questions that weighed one mark each and the aspiring candidates seeking admissions should finish the exam in two hours which has questions based on Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence and other law subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Family Law, Property Law, IPR etc. There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 deducted for every wrong answer.
