JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 2017:

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. Joint Seat Allocation Authority 2015 (JoSAA 2015) conducted the joint admission process for a total of 18 IITs, ISM Dhanbad, 32 NITs, 18 IIITs and 19 other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2016 has been set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 92 institutes for the academic year 2016-17. This includes 22 IITs, ISM, 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 18 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.

This year it has conducted the JEE examination and the candidates who had appeared for the counselling can check the mock seat allotment results from the official website.

JEE Mains JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 1 Results:

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is going to release mock seat allotment 2017 today. The allocation of a seat of choices depends on category of the candidate, candidate’s position in the merit or rank list, preferences of academic programs and seat availability in various quotas for which he/she is eligible. The authority will also publish the second mock seat allotment on 23rd June.

The online registration and choice filling will get closed on 26th June 2017. The JoSAA will then reconcile the data submitted by the candidates and announce the first round seat allocation on 28th June. The students will be given a 5-day window (from 29th June to 3rd July) to report for securing admission to the allotted seat as per the first round of CAP.
