Kerala Polytechnic First Allotment Results 2017:

Directorate of Technical Education is dealing with all the technical education activities in the state. Currently there are 12 Engineering Colleges (9 Govt. Colleges and 3 Govt. aided Colleges), 49 Polytechnic Colleges (43 Govt. Polytechnics and 6 Govt. aided Polytechnics), 3 Fine Arts Colleges, 39 Technical High Schools, 17 Commercial Institutes and 42 Tailoring and Garment Making Centres functioning all over the state, under the control of the Directorate.

Every year it conducts various examinations for the admissions into various programs. This year it has released notification for the Polytechnic admissions and the candidates who had applied can check first allotment results from the official website.

Kerala Polytechnic Diploma 1st Allotment List 2017:

DTE Kerala had invited online applications for Polytechnic College Admission. Admission under Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) is being done for regular seats in government polytechnics, government aided programs/ government seats in Self financing programmes, management seats under Aided programmes and under NCC/ Sports quota.

As per the seat matrix approved by DTE, total 11,670 seats are available in 51 government & government-aided Polytechnic colleges, apart from 3,055 seats in Self-financing institutions for the academic session 2017-18. “The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of merit assessed by considering the marks/ grades secured by the students in qualifying exam (SSLC/ THSCL)”, DTE said.

Kerala Polytechnic First Allotment List 2017:

Polytechnic allotment (trial) and provisional rank list was published for the second time by DTE on July 12 and the students were given four days to appeal & revise their options of courses/ colleges. As per the revised schedule of Polytechnic Counselling, DTE will publish Polytechnic first allotment list today. Also, Polytechnic final rank list will be published by the Directorate which will be used for the complete counselling process.

The students were given facility to fill maximum 25 choices in the order of preference and if a student gets allotted his/ her highest option, he/ she shall pay the full fee at concerned Polytechnic and confirm admission. The last date for reporting/ joining based on the first allotment is July 21, up to 4 pm.
