Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared the written exam result for Stenographers (Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’) Exam 2014. The candidates who have been selected will have to appear for the Skill Test conducted by the Commission. A total of 2602 candidates have qualified the examination. The candidates who have appeared in the examination can check the list to know their respective names.

Staff Selection Commission is an Indian organization to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. It was set up on 1 July 1976 to make recruitment on zonal basis for non-technical Group C posts under the Central Government, except the post for which recruitment was made by Railway Service Commission and the industrial establishments.

For candidates belonging to reserved categories for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved as per Government Policy, the category status is indicated against their Roll Numbers. It is important to note that some of these candidates have been declared qualified only for the category mentioned against their Roll Numbers. If any candidate does not actually belong to the category mentioned against his/her name, he/she may not be eligible to be included in the list. It is, therefore, in the interest of the candidates concerned to immediately contact the respective Regional Office of the Commission in all such cases where they do not belong to the category shown against their Roll Numbers.

The written test was held on 14^th Set 2014. Candidate who score more marks than the cutoff marks will be qualify from written test. Next round for this recruitment is skill test .Applicant those who got qualify in the written test will go through the Skill test.
