With no recent hits Allu Sirish came up with new film Okka Kshanam released today i.e; 28th December 2017. The movie is directed by Vi Anand. Surbhi is playing the female lead role. The film also features Srinivas Avasarala and Seerat Kapoor as other leads. Amid reports that the film starring Allu Sirish and Surbhi is a remake of a Korean film, Anand refutes the news and says, “Many articles have been written on the parallel life and there is a South Korean movie based on this theme. But, the story of Okka Kshanam bears no similarities with any films whatsoever. It’s original and unique.”

Okka Kshanam Movie Story:

After a student gets murdered, a news channel investigates her death and claims that she was killed by her lover. The government under pressure appoint experts to learn the truth about her death.

The story is about the life of Jeeva, played by Sirish, who must fight against destiny to save the life of his girlfriend. ‘Okka Kshanam’ charts the journey of four individuals and showcases how their lives align together. The film charts the journey of Jeeva and how his life parallels that of Srinivas Avasarala’s character. The same happens to his girlfriend, played by Surbhi, whose life parallels that of Seerat Kapoor’s character.

Okka Kshanam Review:

The concept of ‘Okka Kshanam’ is something unique to Telugu cinema. Unlike the majority of commercial films, it doesn’t seem to follow the same rules of ‘five songs and six fights. ‘Okka Kshanam’ is taking a pure leap of faith in a new direction with the parallel lives concept. Vi Anand has a filmmaking and directing style all of his own. Be it ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada’ or ‘Tiger’, the director has created a niche for himself in the industry.

The action is expected to be one of the main highlights in Okka Kshanam. Stunt choreographer Vijay master has composed fight sequences in the film. Allu Sirish, Surabhi, Seerat Kapoor & Avasarala Srinivas justified their roles. The story and concept of the film is new. However, few people may not connect to Okka Kshanam.
