Comedy King Sharan Satya Harishchandra a romantic comedy released today i.e; 20th October 2017. The film was written and directed by Dayal Padmanabhan.It is produced by K. Manju under his K. Manju Cinemaas banner. It features Sharan, Sanchita Padukone and Bhavana Rao in the lead roles. The film is losely inspired from the Punjabi film Singh vs Kaur (2013).The score and soundtrack for the film is by Arjun Janya and the cinematography is by Faisal Ali.

“Sathya Harishchandra is my first film with K Manju and it gives me great joy to work with a banner that has made 40-odd films already. This is also my first with Dayal as a filmmaker. He is essentially a writer, and in that capacity, he has worked with me multiple times, including when I was still acting for the small screen. Back then itself, I realized how talented he is in writing comedy. This is the first time that he has directed me and I was happy to work with him as I know how important the writing is for a comedy script meant for an actor who specializes in that genre. The movie is absolutely contradictory to its title and deals with a man who lies his way through situations, most of which are meant to have audiences rolling on the floor laughing. The story revolves around Sathya Harishchandra, a young and whacky person, falls in love. The movie follows the love story of the young lad and answers if the prankster ever becomes serious about romance in his life.
