This is the remake of super hit Malayalam film ‘Two Countries which had actor Dileep in the lead. The movie is a romantic comedy entertainer directed & produced by N. Shankar. 2 Countries Story:

Sunil will do anything to make money and never hesitates to cheat people. His life takes a turn when he decides to marry an Indian woman who is settled in the USA.

The plot of the film revolves around Ullas (Sunil), a cunning procrastinator in his late 30s who makes a living by deceiving people in his hometown. Money is the only motivator that works for him and he wants it without any risks. Her borrows money from the Patel (Sayaji Shinde).

Laya (Manisha Raj) and Ullas are childhood friends. For making money he decides to marry a disabled woman, Simran. However, Laya and NRI start liking Ullas. start liking Ullas. They both get married. Later, Ullas comes to the knowledge that Laya is a chronic alcoholic.

Laya comes to know about Ullas’s original plan through Avinash, Ullas’s friend, accidentally. What is Ullas Plan? Why did he marry Laya is the rest of the story.

Sunil Two Countries Review:

2 Countries is a romantic comedy entertainer. Earlier, Sunil’s Poolarangadu is also a remake of Malayalam movie. From, the trailer itself the movie 2 Countries got a mixed response from the audience. Although, it is a remake the direction could have been done better. Also, the poor script and the narration of the scenes test the patience of the audience. Sunil as Ullas justified his role. Other lead characters performed well.
