Scientists Believe Climate Change Is The Root Cause Of ‘Lucifer’ Heatwave

Climate change is one of the worst war we have to fight. Recent happenings at the Antarctica and Arctic are the concrete proofs of the temperature rise and global warming. For one or other reason, it is the instant rise in temperature that is the current day’s crucial problem.

The back to back heatwaves in the Europe is the another epitome of the consequences. Scientists called it as ‘Lucifer’ Experts from the World Weather Attribution [WWA] got engaged in it and had relinquished a conclusion that Global Warming had a significant bearing on Lucifer. That’s not only because mercury raised to 44C in the south of Spain on 14th August 2017, but also Lucifer’s study helped scientists to predict more about Blue Planet’s temperature in 2050.

Back then, the death toll exceeded to 70,000 in Europe during the summer of 2003. This didn’t happen now, and it is quite fortunate. But the cases of emergency admittance were raised like anything [15-20%]. At 5-10 people have died in the heat in Italy and Romania.

On the other hand, the study unveiled on Wednesday also suggested that if these conclusions aren’t taken seriously, then Europe and other parts of the earth will have 40C as a normal temperature. Thus, summers will keep getting hotter. Regarding this, a study revealed by European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) also said heatwaves of 40°C+ would be typical in Europe.

“Heatwaves are far more intense than when my parents were growing up in the 1950s. If we do nothing to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, the kind of extreme heat we saw this past summer would be the norm when my young son is a grown man”, said Friederike Otto, the Deputy Director of the Environmental Change Institute (ECI) who also is part of WWA at Oxford University.

On a note, let us question ho should be blamed for this? For researchers reason, for “at least ten times more likely” heat in comparison with the early 1990s in a Euro-Mediterranean region is human-caused climate change.
