Yes, as a shocker move, veteran Indian cricketer Anil Kumble on Tuesday himself stepped down as the head coach of the team and this disappointed many. Minutes after the news broke, reactions poured in from all corners. Media always gave signals about the spat between him and Kohli, but his resignation has surely come as a surprise to many.

If we once look at the statistics, team Indian had performed really well under his guidance. It was due to him that the Indian team won ODI and T20 Internationals; even in ICC Champions Trophy, India reached the finals.

After stepping down, Anil Kumble has issued a very strong statement on his Twitter handle. Cricket fans wanted to know if things were not fine between the two; so, clarifying everything, Kumble has blamed Kohli for his decision to step down.

He said how the captain wasn’t happy with his coaching style. After reading his statement, people are thrashing Kohli on social media for insulting the legend. Twitter is totally against him now. Some have also said that this act might make him lose lots of fans.

While the entire cricketing fraternity seemed clearly unhappy, Abhinav Bindra – India’s only gold medallist in an individual event at the Olympics, expressed his opinion through a cryptic tweet.

Taking to microblogging website Twitter, Bindra although did not take names of any of the two involved, he indirectly presented his views on the Kumble-Kohli episode.

Here is how Abhinav Bindra expressed his views with a very mature and humble tweet –

The post read, “My biggest teachers was coach Uwe.I hated him!But stuck with him for 20 years. He always told me things I did not want to hear.#justsaying

While Bindra did not mention Kumble’s name, given the timing of his tweet, it was clearly evident that his tweet was directed towards the leggie’s decision to step down.

Even Jwala Gutta, the famous badminton player, replied to Abhinav Bindra; she said,

She tweet read, “@Abhinav_Bindra Sometimes that’s the important part of training 🙈 I remember my sir doing the same…he still does it!!!”

Abhinav Bindra is right here; even if the player dislikes the coach’s style of teaching, he should accept it and stick to the same. After all, the coach is always more experienced and has a better way of doing things.
