After Lots of Twists and Turns, BCCI Finally Announced Team India’s Head Coach

After a long wait, Anil Kumble has been appointed as the Head Coach of Indian Cricket Team. Anil Kumble becomes the 11th coach for the India cricket team. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made the announcement in Dharmashala which was even kept live on Facebook.

Anil Kumble, the 45-year-old is known for his amazing work ethics during his playing days. he was chosen by the BCCI’s Cricket Advisory Committee that included former captains Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and veteran batting star VVS Laxman. Former BCCI secretary and cricketer Sanjay Jagdale was the coordinator.

There was a Huge tug of war between Anil Kumble and Ravi Shastri which made this selection even much exciting. BCCI President Anurag Thakur said “India deserves the best and we have the best in Kumble. It is not about foreign coaches.”
