Gautam Gambhir Bashes Virender Sehwag, Yogeshwar Dutt And Others For Mocking Gurumehar Kaur, Watch His Powerful Video Here

We’re living in a generation where Nationalism and Anti-Nationalism have become the taglines implicating the opinions. It has been a year and the Cargill martyr Mandeep Singh’s daughter Gurmeher Kaur’s video on the interrelations between Pakistan and India is still making rounds on the Internet.

Collecting the popular opinions, the former cricketer Virender Sehwag took on to his Twitter mocking the 20-year-old girl. Popular wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt, Geeta Phogat and actor Randeep Hooda backed Sehwag’s opinion on the issue.

And here’s a turnover in this topic as the Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir has become the first ever sportsperson to back Gurmeher. He boldly made a video entitled hashtag #GautiSpeaks and shared it on social media through his Twitter handle.

The video depicts the necessity of respecting opinions and freedom of speech. Gautam straightforwardly mocked the right wings’ opinion and criticised them for their narrow-mindedness in mocking the young girl.

Along with the video, the tweet reads: “The freedom of expression is absolute and equal for all. High time we learnt that and practised it daily in every sphere of life.”

On the other hand, Gurmeher’s video is subjecting the promotion of peace and integrity between Pakistan and India. In one of the play cards, she mentioned: “Pakistan did not kill my father, the war did.”

What Sehwag tweeted:

And here’s Yogeshwar Dutt’s post:

Gambhir condemned these mocking tweets and mentioned that this kind of threats on a 20-year-old girl is quite disappointing.
