Bolt last race

One such conversation took place recently when Sri Lankan legendary cricketers Mahela Jayawardene got involved with a fan. But not many are aware that there’s a witty side to Jayawardene. After seeing this Twitter conversation, many people get to know about his witty side.

We all know that one of the greatest Olympian of all time Usain Bolt ran his last 100-meter race yesterday. Though the iconic sprinter could not end his career with a gold, he was not bowing out without a medal. He finished behind Justin Gatlin and Christian Coleman who finished first and second respectively.

Unfortunately, Bolt had to settle for Bronze instead of Gold.

Mahela Jayawardene took the moment to post a tweet on behalf of the 8 time-Olympic Gold medalist. It was a wonderful gesture from the right handed batsman as he showed his respect towards a fellow sportsman. Jayawardene’s tweet read “Respect Usain Bolt”.

Replying to his tweet, a fan of former Indian captain MS Dhoni came up with an irrelevant tweet. The fan stated that Mahela should also respect MS Dhoni who is faster than Usain Bolt. The fan wrote, “Also respect to @msdhoni who is more faster than Bolt.”

Jayawardene, who is often regarded as the epitome of calmness, trolled the fan in the most appropriate way. In an answer to his claim, Jayawardene asked him whether Dhoni was on his bike or not.

That was an epic answer from the man and was hilarious as well.
