MS Dhoni Makes An Amazing Comeback With Three Consecutive Sixes At TNPL,This Video Takes Us Back To CSK Days

Former Team India’s Captain MS Dhoni, well known for his flawless sixes in the critical situations has made a rough comeback. It was since the very inception, Dhoni has surprised the audience now and then with his series of amusing shots bagging the back-to-back matches that were assumed as almost lost.

Sources from the Indian Cricket board has already declared that IPL’s most favorite franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) can resume its presence in the next year’s grand league. And as it was back then, Dhoni once again will be the face of CSK entertaining all of us.

As all the country has to wait for almost a year, but, the game has already started for Chennai. People there experienced a thrilling start to the second edition of the much awaited Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) which began with a friendly ‘maximum six hitting’ competition between former India and Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and former Australian opener Matthew Hayden.

Hayden has earlier played for CSK in IPL, and this recent bait took place at MA Chidambaram Stadium on Saturday.

Dramatizing the situation, MS Dhoni turned up in his favorite yellow CSK jersey, got the fan to cheer for him and sent all three balls over the boundary ropes for big sixes. Thrilled with Dhoni’s performance, Chennai Super Kings franchise posted a video on their official Twitter account praising Dhoni’s effort and welcoming his comeback and tweeted,”#ThalaInChepauk #SuperSixes #whistlepodu #TNPL2.

However, both Dhoni and Hayden did their best to showcase their capabilities where Dhoni sealed the show, hammering massive three sixes entertained the crowd. Hayden has smashed 182 sixes in his entire international career while Dhoni is far ahead of the Australian opener, with 322 sixes altogether.TNPL started on July 22 with the first match between Albert Tuti Patriots and Dindigul Dragons. Dinesh Karthik will play for Tuti Patriots. The tournament features eight teams with 32 matches to be played, including the final on August 20.

Talking about his relationship with Chennai, Dhoni was quoted saying that “Yellow is very special, the crowd has been fantastic, they have given me unconditional love and affection and I always say it is my second home.”

The Tamil Nadu’s much popular TNPL has started back on July 22 with the first match between Albert Tuti Patriots and Dindigul Dragons. The tournament features eight teams with 32 matches to be played, including the final on August 20. Post the match, the winner and runner of the second edition of TNPL will be rewarded with the total prize money of Rs 1 crore and the Rs 60 lakhs respectively.
