Jasprit Bumrah Was Given Out, MS Dhoni Goes For A Review Like A Boss

Team India has a formidable ODI record against the Sri Lankans, who are being led by the veteran all-rounder Thisara Perera. Whereas, Rohit Sharma gets an opportunity to present his captaincy skills in an ODI match at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association stadium in Dharamsala.

Bumrah given out

But, Suranga Lakmal and Angelo Mathews and NuwanPradeep’ spell have put India in all sorts of trouble. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl first. However, the visitors were successful restricting the Indian batsmen to score runs and also take wickets at regular intervals.

Opener Shikhar Dhawan was out for a duck in the second over. Rohit Sharma didn’t use the opportunity well and fell prey to Lakmal in the fifth over. Followed by the Indian top order lined up one by one walking back to the pavilion. Dinesh Karthik also scored a duck.

Dhoni reviews Bumrah LBW

MS Dhoni again showed why he is the king of Decision Review System (DRS) as he nailed another perfect DRS to help India not losing Bumrah’s wicket. We all know how accurate will Dhoni be when it comes to DRS.

In fact, cricket lovers call DRS as Dhoni Review System. He never goes wrong and it shows his concentration to the game in any situation the team is. In 34th over, Pathirana was bowling to Bumrah. Bumrah tried to play defense but the ball went on to hit the pads. Sri Lankan went for the appeal and the umpire gave it Out.

Dhoni DRS successful

Soon, Dhoni wasted no time and asked for the review. As the impact of the ball was outside, the umpire was asked to reverse the decision and Bumrah was given Not Out. This, once again proves Dhoni is the king of DRS.
