Newspaper Misquoted Bhajji’s Wish To Kohli, Harbhajan Singh Trolls Reporter For Making A Shameful Error

Ace Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh, dearly called as Bajji, he might be off the ground for now, but the player is often in touch with his fellow players, keeps updating things day-to-day on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Twitter has obviously been bridging the gaps between the players and fans time-to-time. We are now getting to know the insights of our favorite players on this social media platform. Out of many players in TeamIndia, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jadeja, Dhawan, and Harbhajan are some of few who are quite active on this platform.

Virat Kohli, the talented skipper of the Indian cricket team, celebrated his birthday on November 5 with great zeal and fun. Needless to say, his friends and teammates made the day unforgettable for him and why not, it was a very special day, not only for Kohli but also for his fans.

Apparently, Harbhajan had wished Virat Kohli on his birthday where he called him as ‘a brother from another mother’, which is a common term used. On November 5, he’d tweeted, “Happy birthday @imVkohli my brother from another mother.. khush reh.. rab tenu hamesha chardikala ch rakhe.. god bless.”

However, some Hindi newspaper completely misconstrued the statement.

bhajji tweet misunderstood

One of the fans tweeted a screenshot of Bhajji’s tweet and a picture of the headline created by the newspaper.

It was obvious for Harbhajan to troll the newspaper after this piece of news and we must say that he had an epic thrashing. Bhajji wrote, “Koi Baat Nahi Bhai sahb ne shayad 2/3 peg jyada lga Liye honge kaam par Phir Apni marzi se angreji se ladayi Kar li aur ye mtlab nikala.”

Which means “No problem, seems like the reporter had 2/3 extra pegs during work and then fought with the English language to make a completely new meaning.”

Even ace comedian Kapil Sharma couldn’t stop himself and react to Bhajji’s tweet.

Harbhajan’s wife Geeta also joined and wrote, “hahaha… and you ‘supposedly’ run a newspaper ????”

This is indeed very shameful on the part of the newspaper’s editor.
