No One Should Be Next To MS Dhoni While He Sneezes, Shikhar Dhawan Reveals Why

Years passed, Dhoni’s attention towards stumps only grew with time. There are times when he is quoted as the one faster than the speed of light. Escaping from MS Dhoni’s lightning fast activity behind the stumps is an impossible deed.

Considered as one of the greatest ever wicket-keepers, MS Dhoni has produced some outstanding and stunning acts with the gloves. He has been proving it every time.

MS Dhoni is renowned for his ability to finish off games with the bat, his exceptional wicketkeeping skills, his ability to judge situations perfectly, his captaincy career which has been filled with all trophies any captain can aspire, the helicopter shot that takes off faster than any helicopter probably will, and his love for bikes which he rides at high speeds around Ranchi.

He is known for his calm and composed nature both on and off the field. Most recently, we had seen him taking a quick nap on the field during an ODI match against Sri Lanka. After the Chennai ODI match against Australia, Dhoni was again seen having a nap in the Airport while waiting for the flight.

From hilariously telling his team-mates to focus on the game – like the time he told S Sreesanth to not check out girls in the crowd – to playing pranks in the dressing room with pals Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh, MSD has proven to have a colorful personality when not focused on national duty.

Amidst all these known facts about MS Dhoni, Indian Opener Shikhar Dhawan has recently revealed about one of his habits that makes everyone go crazy.

Shikhar Dhawan is all set to make a comeback in the Indian cricket team for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Australia, starting October 7. The southpaw is in red-hot form since his comeback into the squad in ICC Champions Trophy 2017, the tournament where he was awarded the Golden Bat award.

Apart from his outstanding batting skills on the field, Dhawan is known for his funny character off the field. In a recent interview, Dhawan was asked to reveal a smart one-liner frequently used by former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Dhawan said, “When he sneezes, he says ‘Bhagwan Mujhe Nahin isko uthale‘ (God take him with you, not me).” This, as fans of the Hindi film industry would know, is a famous dialogue that was said by senior actor Paresh Rawal in the film Hera Pheri.

Well, the Indian players would know very well now to stay away from Mahi when he’s suffering from a cold! Both Dhoni and Dhawan will be in action in the three-match T20 series against Australia that begins in the former’s hometown of Ranchi on Saturday.

After a thumping 4-1 victory in the recently-concluded ODI series against the Aussies, the Virat Kohli-led Indian team would want to continue its domination in the shortest format of the game as well. The first T20 will be followed by the second and third matches on October 10 and 13 respectively.
