After having suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of defending champions India, Pakistan fought back hard and won the match against South Africa. Pakistan put in a top-notch show to stifle the South Africans. As rain interrupted play, Pakistan were 19 runs ahead of the DLS par score at the end of 27 overs.

When Sarfraz Was asked to explain the difference between their first and second match. “I think today our differences are bowling and our fielding,” said Sarfraz. As their fielding was markedly better against SA, one of the reporters asked what the team focused on to make the fielding better.

In response, Sarfraz said, “Actually we did not field at all. we had rain the other day, so we did nothing. Players are boosted up from the last game,” much to the laughter of those attending the press conference.
